Welcome to the William Penn Library Media Center
“Here is the treasure chest of the world- the public library..."
-Ben Carson, Think Big: Unleashing Your Potential for Excellence
The media center at William Penn High School provides students with access to electronic and print resources. Currently, there are over 20,000 books available to support literacy and classroom learning. The library media center also has computers with Internet access, printer availability, and a wireless computer lab. Partnership with the University of Delaware provides high school students with access to research databases of credible, reliable sources. William Penn teachers can schedule the library media center or the research lab for class projects or research. The media center staff, which includes a certified School Library Media Specialist, is available to assist students in searching for information, printing a paper, or selecting a book.
